Chicago O'Hare International Airport (ORD)

Chicago Transit Authority

The Chicago Transit Authority operates a 24-hour train service between O'Hare Airport and Downtown. It is the cheapest way of getting into town, and often the fastest. However, there is quite a long walk to get to the station, especially if you have heavy luggage. The CTA station is located on the lowest level of the main parking garage at Terminals 1, 2 and 3 (accessible from Terminal 5 on the ATS system). Metra North Central commuter trains serves destinations in Lake and northern Cook counties, with five daily inbound and outbound trains between Antioch and Chicago Union Station. Shuttle Buses to and from O'Hare International Airport


Continental Airport Express shuttle buses are located on the ground level of Terminal 5 car park. There is a regular shuttle to Chicago from O’Hare and an hourly shuttle to Midway Airport. Taxis to and from O’Hare International Airport

Taxis are available from outside the arrivals at O’Hare International Airport that ready to take you to your destination. The journey time to the city centre is around 40 minutes depending on traffic and it will cost you around $45.

 




Chicago Midway International Airport


Chicago Midway International Airport

The Chicago Transit Authority

The Chicago Transit Authority is a quick and reliable way to get to the city centre of Chicago. The Orange Line serves the southwest side of Chicago and connects the airport with downtown Chicago. Central Midlands Regional Transit Authority


Central Midlands Regional Transit Authority operates bus services between Chicago Midway Airport and the city centre of Chicago.

 

 

Shuttle Bus Services at Chicago Midland Airport

The two main shuttle companies are Omega Airport Shuttles, which provides regular transport between O’Hare International Airport and Midway Airport. The other shuttle company is Continental Airport Express, which offers daily shuttle services between Midway Airport and the downtown of Chicago. Taxis at Midway Airport

There are taxis located outside the terminal building on the lower level, which will take you to your final destination
