Benidorm

Benidorm is located on the Costa Blanca, 40km northeast of Alicante. It’s considered one of the most visited holiday resorts in Spain and the majority of its visitors is British here on package holidays or has decided to retire by the sea.

The resorts beaches are considered one of the best in Spain and its four major theme parks and world class golf courses are huge draws as well. The Balcón del Mar in the Bay of Benidorm is the most popular place for people looking for a bit of sand and water. Here you will find golden white sandy beaches and loads of water sports at your disposal.

The nightlife in Benidorm is considered one of the best in the country, as it has hundreds of bars and clubs. The biggest venue is the Benidorm Palace, which holds over 2000 people. If you are looking for the clubs, go to the ‘The Square’, on the corner of Calle Lepanto and Avenida de Mallorca. The two most popular clubs in town are Pacha and Space, which attracts DJs from all over Europe and they stay open till the early hours of the morning.

 

 

Caleta de Fuste

Caleta de Fuste is located on the east coast of the Canary Island of Fuerteventura and it attracts mainly package holiday makers and families from the UK. The biggest attractions in the resort are the beach and its championship golf course that attracts golfers from all over the globe.

The resorts port is where you will find jet-skiing, windsurfing, diving and any other main sort of water activity. If you like seeing sea life then check out the Oceanarium Explorer, which is a glass bottom submarine.

Caleta de Fuste’s nightlife is quite quiet compared to most other resorts in Spain, but there are a few good small little pubs and bars for you to have a drink at. If you are looking for the clubs you will need to go to Puerto del Rosario, which is 15km south of Caleta de Fuste.

 

 

 

Corralejo

The resort of Corralejo is located on the northeastern side of the Canary Island of Fuerteventura. It’s the biggest and most popular resort on Fuerteventura, which attracts mainly families and couples, but due to its waves it also attracts many surfers from around Europe.  

There are several beaches in Corralejo, but the two worth checking out are Grandes Playas, which is a gorgeous white sandy beach and Flag Beach, where you will go if you are into kite or wind surfing.

If you are looking for something to do away from the beach then check out the many dive shops, which will point you in the right direction of some amazing diving. Also, another big attraction on the island is deep sea fishing. Check with the local tourist information centre when you arrive, as there are many boats that leave daily.

The nightlife in Corralejo is pretty quiet, but if you are looking for a place to drink go check out ‘Music Square’. Here you will find a few bars, pubs and good restaurants and it’s located in the narrow streets behind the port.

 

 

 

Costa Teguise

This resort is located on the southeast coast of Lanzarote in the Canary Islands. It’s a man-made resort, which was developed from scratch in the 1970s. It was originally built for the wealthy and rich; who all flocked here, but eventually it started attracting families and today is the 2nd biggest on the island.

The majority of the people, who come here, come for its beautiful beaches and the most popular of these is Playa de las Cucharas.  The resort also attracts windsurfers, which is arguably the best place on the island to do this. You’ll find loads of windsurfing schools around and every July this resort plays host to the annual Professional Windsurfers Association World Cup.

If you are looking to do something away from the water and you love to golf then you have come to the right place, as this resort has some of the best on the island. Another place worth checking out is Teguise, which was originally the island capital and today has loads of shops, art galleries and pubs. Also, Teguise has a great market which shouldn’t be missed.

Costa Teguise isn’t the best place for nightlife, but if you go to the Plaza Pueblo Marinero you’ll find a good pub or club here. This is where the majority of them are located.

 

 

 

Fuengirola

Fuengirola is located on the Costa del Sol, between the very touristy resorts of Torremolinos and Marbella. It’s a flat and compact resort with a long seaside promenade, with miles of long beautiful beaches, which are popular with UK expats and young families who flock here.

If you are coming with the family a popular tourist attraction is the Fuengirola Zoo, which shows the tropical forests of Africa, Asia and Madagascar. In the July and August the zoo stays open till 1am for its illuminated ‘moonlight visits’, which allow the visitors to see the nocturnal inmates while they are active and moving around.

If you are looking for clubs then you have come to the wrong resort, as Fuengirola is very quiet compared to other resorts in Spain.

 

 

 

Las Palmas

Las Palmas is the biggest city in the Canaries and the majority of the people who come here come for its nightlife, shopping and beautiful beaches.

The most popular beach is Playa de las Canteras, which stretches for over 2km and is packed with restaurants, cafes, and souvenir shops. If you are looking for more adventure in your trip then try deep-sea fishing. Playa de las Canteras is the place where you will find the hops that organize these tours.

If you are looking for nightlife in Las Palmas then you have come to the right place, as the Plaza de España on the Avenida Mesa Lopéz is the place to be. Here you will find loads of great clubs and pubs open till the early hours of the morning.

 

 

 

Lloret de Mar

This resort is located on the Costa Brava, which is located 70km northeast of Barcelona on Spain’s’ Mediterranean coast. The majority of the people who come to Lloret de Mar is the 18-30 group who are looking for a cheap holiday with great nightlife.

Lloret de Mar has five great beaches, but the biggest tourist attraction is Water World (www.waterworld.es), which is one of the largest water parks in the country, that includes not just water slides but also bungee jumping.  

If you are looking for the clubs and pubs then head to ‘The Strip’ on Avinguda Just Marlés, which has loads to choice from and the majority stay open till the early hours of the morning.

 

 

 

Los Cristianos

Los Cristianos is located on the southwest coast on the island of Tenerife. It’s considered one of Europe’s most popular holiday destinations, as it’s been attracting families and couples for many years. Because of its location being so close to Africa, it’s one of the few resorts in Europe that are also busy in winter.

The two most popular beaches in Los Cristianos is Playa de Los Cristianos and Playa de Las Vistas. Both are great beaches, which attract thousands to its beautiful beach.

Platja d'en Bossa

Platja d'en Bossa is one of the most popular resorts on Ibiza and the majority of the people who come here are in the 18-30 group who are looking for the clubs, or families who are looking for the beaches.

The beach of Platja d'en Bossa stretches for over 3km and is considered one of the best on the island. You’ll find during peak tourist season loads of beach bars, which pump out the latest dance tracks from around Europe. The most popular beach bar is Bora Bora, which is Ibiza’s biggest beach rave club. The other two popular beaches are Platja d' Es Cavallett or Platja de Migjorn, which is the fashionable beach catwalk which attracts a mixed crowd.

Space and Amnesia are two of the most popular clubs in Europe. Space was one of the first after hour’s clubs, as it opens at 8am and goes all morning long. Playa de Las Americas

Playa de Las Americas is located on the southwest coast on the island of Tenerife. It’s considered one of Europe’s most popular holiday destinations, as it attracts families, couples and the 18-30 groups looking for some of the best nightlife in Europe. Because of its location being so close to Africa, it’s one of the few resorts in Europe that are also busy in winter.

If you are looking for the nightlife then go to the areas of Centro Comercial Kasbah, which attracts the 18-30 crowd and Centro Comercial Plaza, which attracts a more mixed crowd.

 

 

 

Puerto de Alcúdia

Puerto de Alcúdia is a huge resort that’s located on the northeast coast of Mallorca. It attracts mainly families and young couples coming for the beach at Puerto de Alcúdia, which stretches over 11km and is arguably the best beach on the island. The beach offers many water sports like snorkeling and scuba diving, wind and kite-surfing and jet and water-skiing. Whatever water sport you like you will find it here.

The nightlife in Puerto de Alcúdia is pretty good, as the club Menta attracts DJs from around Europe and it stays open till the early hours.

 

 

 

Puerto del Carmen

Puerto del Carmen is the busiest and biggest resort on Lanzarote and its biggest draw is its long beautiful beaches and the backdrop of the hills, which offer to its beautiful surroundings. The majority of the people who come to the resort are families and young couples looking for a quiet vacation.

The main beach is Playa Grande, which stretches for over 2km and has loads of water sports on offer. If you like diving or snorkeling then this is the place you should go to. If you have never dived before then check out the few dive shops in the area for more information.

The most popular area in Puerto del Carmen is ‘The Strip’, or known locally as Avenida de las Playa. Here you will find loads of restaurants, souvenir shops, bars and clubs for those looking to go out at night.

 

 

 

Salou

Salou is located on the east coast of Spain, 100km southwest of Barcelona. It’s the most popular and built-up resort on the Costa Dorada. The majority of the people who come to this resort are young families looking for a quiet holiday.

The most popular beach is Playa Levante, which is lined with palm trees and a breathtaking backdrop with its massive cliffs above. This beautiful beach is a perfect place to relax or do one of the many water sports that are available.

If you are looking for something away from the water then go to Port Aventura, which is one of the biggest theme parks in Europe. Also, check out the 16th – century watch tower, which today houses modern art exhibitions.

 

 

 

San Antonio Bay

San Antonio Bay is located on the west coast of the island of Ibiza and it’s considered the 2nd largest resort on the island. The majority of the people who come to this resort are families looking for its beautiful beaches and the 18-30 crowds, which are here for its nightlife.

There are loads of great beaches for all tastes and arguably the best is Es Pueto, which is a large beach and has a beautiful white sandy beach.  Away from the water there are loads of activities to do like golf, bungee jumping and glass-bottom boat tours, which are highly recommended.

If you are looking for nightlife, we recommend you start the night on the Sunset Strip, where you can watch the sun go down and chill on the beach while listening to some great tunes. From there go to the infamous ‘West End’, which has a high concentration of bars and clubs, which stay open till the early hours. One of the most popular clubs is Privilege, which holds over 10,000 people and is the biggest club in the world.

 

 

 

Torremolinos

Torremolinos is located in Malaga and is located the busiest resort on the Costa del Sol and mainly popular with British holidaymakers and the 18-30 age group.

The resort has a great beach, which has loads of beach bars and there are loads of water sports available. If you like to golf then this is the resort for you, as there are loads of world-class resorts that attracts many of the top celebrates to its courses.

If you are looking for nightlife then you have found the right place to go to. The place to go is Avenida Palma de Mallorca, which has a huge concentration of clubs and pubs. One of the top venues is Fun Beach, which is one of the most popular in Europe, with several dance floors and even a swimming pool.
