Camps Bay

Located about 5km southwest of Cape Town on the Atlantic Seaboard is the exclusive resort of Camp Bay, which attracts mostly families to its beautiful surroundings that overlooks the breathtaking Twelve Apostles. 

Camps Bay is a great place for all beach activities and nightlife, which is one of the best and safest areas in the country to experience it. The majority of these clubs and pubs can be found on Victoria’s Road, which stays open till the early hours. For more information on Camps Bay go to

Plettenberg Bay

Plettenberg Bay (or Plett to the locals) is located on South Africa’s Garden Route, which is on South Africa’s south coast. It’s set high above on a rocky peninsula, which gives it excellent views of the beaches and local scenery below.

The majority of the tourists visiting are from the country or tourists who are travelling through the Garden Route. Whatever their reason for coming most tourists have an excellent time while they are there. The two main beaches are Lookout Beach, which is mainly a surf beach and Central Beach, which is where most of the water sports are located, such as deep-sea fishing, diving and sailing. If you are looking for something a bit different maybe you would like to try the highest bungee jump in the world at the Bloukrans River Bridge, just a short distance from Plett.
